Housing project

Established in 2006, the housing Project of Passages provides access to affordable housing and community support that help maintaining women in housing units, as most of them have experienced discrimination or have difficulties with residential stability.

In partnership with SHAPEM (Société d’habitation populaire de l’Est de Montréal), Passages offers 14 small semi-furnished apartments. The service offers the possibility for tenants to live there permanently, as long as the women need support from the community support group, that she respects rent payments, and building regulations.

The apartments are available to any woman living in a difficult situation aged between 18 to 30 years old.
